On Saturday, December 20, Elizabeth Woody will be speaking at the Portland Art Museum at 2:00 p.m. The art museum says Elizabeth will "illuminate the galleries with her poetry about the Columbia River."
In 2006, Erik Muller gave a talk at Willamette University on the question Is There An Oregon Poetry? The text of this talk can be found here, and he discusses Elizabeth Woody's poetry in some detail.
Also this Saturday at 4:00 p.m., the good people of Enterprise will enjoy a Fishtrap Christmas, featuring readings of classic Christmas stories, read by Rich Wandschneider and Craig Stroebel.
The high Saturday in Enterprise is predicted to be 9º.
